MIO, the off-site attendance control terminal

MIO is Trexom’s personal terminal for checking attendance and off-site work activities.

In a post-industrial economy like ours, a large part of GDP is made up of services, many of these require activities outside the company headquarters and therefore an ever-increasing “mobility” of staff in the area.

At each detection point (homes, construction sites, offices, factories, etc.) a small electronic detector called TAG is positioned, or supplied, which can take different forms (ATM-type card, plastic disc, nail, adhesive, etc).

For data collection, it is sufficient for the worker, at the beginning and end of the work, to bring the MIO terminal closer to the TAG and, by pressing a button, it records the TAG number in the MIO together with the date and time of registration. With this data, processed by a special programme (software) it is possible to carry out a check on the presence and external activities of workers (working times, transfer times, sequence of places, etc).
